Concrete beam falls onto Rama IV Road, no injuries

When a practical plate fell from a crane at a building destruction page on Rama IV Road near the Lumpini crossing in Bangkok on Saturday night, three cars were damaged but no one was hurt.

According to Pol Lt Thanasak Phanchote, the owner of the business creating met with the police and discussions were taking place about compensation for the proprietors of three broken pickup trucks.

The Srifuengfung Building’s managers were given permission to demolish the building on June 24 according to Aekvarunyoo Amrapala, a spokesman for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ( BMA ).

When a hoist was lifting a piece of the building, the incident occurred about 6 p.m. The power system in the cranes driver’s cab developed issues, causing the cement beam to drop onto the street.

The Bang Rak area company ordered job at the tower halted, said the official.

On Sunday, Mr. Aekvarunyoo, the lieutenant governor of Bangkok, Wissanu Sabsomphon, researchers from the Public Works Department, and the Thai Structural Engineering Association, may inspect the structure.
