The commitment to design and build the Clementi CRL train was awarded to a joint venture between the Singapore offices of China Communications Construction Company and Sinohydro Corporation for S$ 514 million( US$ 375 million ).
The seventh MRT line in Singapore is the fully underground CRL. It will support both current and future construction in the northeast, north-eastern, and western corridors that connect important cities like Changi, the Jurong Lake District, or the Punggol Digital District.
Turf City, King Albert Park, Maju, Clementi, West Coast, and Jurong Lake District make up Phase 2 of the CRL, which was announced in September 2022 and has a length of approximately 15 km. & nbsp,
CRL Phase 2 customer services is scheduled to start in 2032.
