During police attacks in Bangkok on Wednesday, a 19-year-old Chinese youth was detained. He is accused of being a part of a call center fraud.
Metropolitan and emigration police seek a place in the Hua Mak neighborhood of Bang Kapi city of Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24/3 with a permit from the Criminal Court.
They found and seized eight new-model SIM containers, two world devices, a swap gateway, a closed-circuit television cameras, a power storage, eight LAN wires and other items.
After that, they searched another place at the AT Ratcha apartment in the Din Daeng district and detained a Taiwanese teenager, later identified as Minghong Tan, 19, for allegedly being a part of a call center scam.
Police claimed that Mr. Minghong was a part of a con artist and had rented both of his apartments. One served as an procedures company and the other for the SIM boxes and other equipment. Additionally, the arresting staff discovered lease agreements for ten more areas.  ,
According to the officers, Mr. Minghong was granted a scholar visa for entry to Thailand. ( continues below )

Mr. Minghong denied being a part of the scam group, according to Metropolitan Police Bureau Pol Maj Gen Theeradej Thamsuthee, the police chief. He claimed to be merely a trader who assisted other Chinese immigrants in finding and renting rooms.
After questioning, authorities pressed first costs of improperly possessing or bringing communication tools into Thailand, setting up a conversation radio station without consent, and improper use of radio frequencies.
The suspect was taken to Hua Mak police station for more investigation , and legal actions.  ,
A scam victim in Ayutthaya reported a problem to officers via the AOC 1441 line center, and the arrest was made. The plaintiff claimed that a claiming to be a police commander from Buri Ram province had cheated them into giving them 10 600 bass.
The Hua Mak gang’s activities center was discovered by authorities. Wednesday’s attacks followed.  ,  ,
