Chinese delegation led by vice premier to visit North Korea

SEOUL: According to state media KCNA on Thursday( Sept 7 ), a Chinese Communist Party and government delegation led by Vice Premier Liu Guozhong will travel to North Korea later this week to participate in the celebration of the nation’s founding day.

According to the review, the Central Committee of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea( WPK) and the North Korean government invited the attend.

Kim Jong Un, whose community has ruled the nation since it was founded in 1948, is the leader of the WPK.

This year will indicate the 75th anniversary since the island was liberated from Chinese rule, and North Korea commemorates its founding moment on September 9 as the Day of the Foundation for the Republic.

According to US officials, Kim perhaps soon travel to Russia for the first time since the COVID-19 crisis in order to speak with President Vladimir Putin about a potential arms deal.

The visit might take place as soon as next year, according to The New York Times, citing unidentified officers. The North Korean state media have not mentioned any visit to Russia, and Russia has stated that it has nothing to say about the document.

The earliest Chinese delegation to attend Pyongyang since the pandemic was led by Li Hongzhong, a member of the Chinese Communist Party Politburo, who also took part in the military parade honoring the 70th anniversary of ending the Korean War.
