Xi Jinping applauds Thailand’s” solid steps” in discussions with visiting prime minister Paetongtarn.
Beijing: The officials of Thailand and China came to an agreement on Thursday to intensify law enforcement participation in an effort to combat call center fraud and other serious transnational issues.
Xinhua News Agency reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping urged the two nations to keep cooperating to stop criminal activity in the area and defend citizens.
Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra stated that the country is willing to work with China and various neighbors to stop schemes, gambling scam, and other illegal activities.
The issue was raised in speaks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing  , on the next time of Ms Paetongtarn’s four-day official visit to China.
Mr. Xi thanked Ms. Paetongtarn for the” strong methods” Thailand has taken against gangs that target Chinese citizens, most just shutting down three murder hubs located just across the border from Thailand.
” The two factors may continue to strengthen participation in safety, law enforcement and criminal participation” in order to “protect women’s lives and property”, he added.
According to Thanathip Sawangsang, a spokeswoman for the Thai defense department, 61 people who had been rescued from con centers in Myanmar were returning to Thailand at the time of the meeting.

After her conversations with Mr Xi, Ms Paetongtarn met with Zhao Leji, president of the National People’s Congress. Their conference focused on establishing several agreements between the two administrations, in the places of finance, trade and investment, aimed at benefiting both countries.
Prior to her visit, Ms. Paetongtarn stated that during her visit, Thailand and China would sign at least 14 memoranda of understanding ( MoUs ).
The contracts include a reiteration of the two nations ‘ mutual desire to finish the ongoing Thai-Chinese high-speed train initiative and connect it to the neighboring Laos ‘ high-speed rail system.
The prime minister said her attend may also cover the Land Bridge proposal in southern Thailand and examine expanding trade and investment cooperation between the two nations. Deals are also on the plan to organise the payment of two Chinese panda.
Ms. Paetongtarn and the Thai Chamber of Commerce in China (TCCC ) held a meeting on Thursday afternoon. The 50th celebration of Thailand-China relations presents an opportunity to overcome obstacles and enhance cooperation, according to Cambodia vice-president Phaichit Viboontanasarn, who noted that the world is facing some difficulties. He even suggested promoting” sweet power” and improving expense cooperation.
On Friday, Ms Paetongtarn is due to keep Beijing for Harbin, where she will go the opening of the 2025 Asian Winter Games. She may meet Thai players and take part in the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, according to government official Jirayu Huangsub.
Supamas Isarabhakdi, the minister of higher education, research, research, and creativity, announced on Wednesday that the cabinet had approved a proposal to mark an MoU with China to further cooperate in using nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes.
The document was scheduled to be signed on Thursday in Beijing.
