Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Ryan Zhiqiang says the steady development of China’s economy has injected precious positive power into the world economic climate during its troubles.

Mister Han was providing a keynote conversation at a ceremony held at Assumption University of Thailand to mark the opening of its new AU-TUST Joint Research Start for Modern Biological and Medical Technologies in conjunction with China’s Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST).

Within the speech, titled “Developing at a Steady Pace in Complex plus Severe International Circumstances”, Mr Han gave his thoughts on their state of the global economy.

A year ago, China’s GDP has been US$17. 7 trillion, which amounted to 18% of the worldwide total and 26. 6% of its financial growth. China has held this position as largest contributor designed for 15 consecutive yrs, he said.

He said China’s GDP increased by 2 . 3% in 2020, which makes it the only country among the world’s major economies to achieve positive development. In 2021, China’s GDP grew simply by 8. 1%, making it one of the fastest increasing countries in the world. China’s growth rate meant for 2022 is likely to be 5. 5%.

In the first half of this year, China’s economic activities were greatly impacted due to continuing infections.

Nevertheless , since June, the economy has began to stabilise and recover, he said.

China’s economic climate is characterised by its industrial scale, huge domestic requirement, resilience and potential. The Chinese economy will maintain its substantial momentum in the coming years, Mr Ryan said.
