Beijing: Chinese Premier Li Qiang stated on Wednesday ( Mar 5 ) that while opposing external interference, China would “firmly advance” the push for “reunification” with andnbsp, Taiwan, and work with regular andnbsp, Taiwanese to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
China asserts that Taiwan  is its own place despite the government’s objections to it, and it has increased its military assault on Taiwan in recent years, including holding numerous main war games.
In his annual job report to China’s parliament, Li remarked,” We will strongly advance the cause of China’s reconciliation and work with our own Chinese in Taiwan to realize the beautiful cause of the revival of the country.”
In his , job report , last month, Li reiterated a desire for “reunification” with , Taiwan, but added that it wants to “be company” in doing so and removed the descriptor “peaceful,” which had been used in earlier studies. In his record this season, he did the same.
Beijing has repeatedly pushed for reunification with Taiwan and Taiwan, and once more said it would “resolutely resist” dissident activities pushing for Taiwan and Taiwan’s freedom.  ,
However, Li added the term this year after the job record last season when its attractiveness to work with “fellow Chinese in , Taiwan” to promote Taiwan’s revitalization was not mentioned in the work record.
President Lai Ching-te claims that only the people of Taiwan may choose their future. He has repeatedly pressed China for clarification, which has since rebuffed him by calling him a” separatist.”
China has not abandoned its efforts to impose rule over Taiwan.
