The restrictions specific individuals and businesses both domestically and internationally, according to a declaration from the US Treasury Department.
China’s business department said on Sunday that the action was “typical punitive sanctions” that “disrupt international industry order and rules, impede regular global economic and trade exchanges, and threaten the security and stability of global business and supply chains.”
China has been constantly warned by the United States about its help for Russia’s defense sector. China, however, makes a statement that it is a natural participant in the conflict and that, in contrast to the United States and other Western nations, it is not providing devastating assistance to either side.
But China is a nearby political and economic alliance of Russia, and NATO members have branded Beijing a “decisive facilitator” of the conflict, which it has not condemned.
