China ‘concerned’ over India strikes on Pakistan, urges restraint

Beijing: On May 7, China expressed regret and worry over Indian airstrikes against Pakistan, urging both countries to show restraint in response to a significant increase between its nuclear-armed neighbors.

After New Delhi launched missile attacks against its archrival, India and Pakistan exchanged large artillery along their tense border on Wednesday.

At least eight people have been killed by Indian cuts in Pakistan, according to India, and three civilians have been killed by Pakistani artillery fire along the disputed Kashmir borders.

China, which borders both nations and is a close ally of Pakistan, expressed regret over India’s defense action this day and expressed concern about the” present advances.”

” India and Pakistan are neighbors that cannot be broken, and they are even China’s neighbors,” according to a speech from a spokesperson for the foreign ministry.

China “opposes all different kinds of terrorism.”

We urge India and Pakistan to prioritize stability and peace, maintain calm and restraint, and refrain from acting in ways that would add to the position, according to the director.
