‘Child-pornographer’ blackmailing 17-year-old nabbed

If he stopped providing information, the assume threatened to post explicit images digitally.

A 17-year-old sufferer who claimed he was being blackmailed advised police on Saturday, making him a suspected child pornographer.

Officials from the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau detained a 24-year-old gentleman in Bangkok’s Bang Khae area on a subpoena issued by the Thonburi Criminal Court.

He is accused of trading child sex for child porn, violating system violence laws, and human trafficking.

On Tuesday, the victim’s parents contacted police to report that their child had been forced to produce explicit information every day for years. If the minor did n’t comply, he was threatened with having his previous Instagram photos posted.

After some classmates had earlier discovered some images that had previously been leaked, the boy apparently became depressed.

During the imprisonment, officers seized numerous Apple tools, including an iPhone 14 Pro Max, an iPad Pro and an Apple Watch. Additionally, the officers found more than 200 terabytes of obvious data in cloud storage.

The believe admitted to coercing a number of minors into making videos for his own use and price. He was released on bail after being detained by the Nakhon Chai Si authorities in 2023 for a comparable crime. The prosecution of the case is pending.
