At about 8 p.m., a white Ford Ranger had stopped, turned round, and fled back to the road more than bypassing a manned station in the Muang district’s tambon Nong Pling, according to lieutenant chief of municipal police Pol Col Anek Chansorn on Tuesday.
Police were following the delivery on motorcycles. On the bad side of the road, the car was attempting to flee. The pursuit was ended by the pilot who made a U-turn to cross Phahon Yothin Road and was struck by an 18-wheeler vehicle. There were no accidents reported.
A search turned up about 5 million meth supplements in 20 items on the passenger seats and the goods bed. Additionally, authorities discovered number panels from various provinces that could be used to conceal the car.  ,
Sukhothai sheets were installed on the vehicle. According to the authorities, it was actually registered in Phayao state.
The 36-year-old pilot, who was only identified as Kritsada, admitted to telling authorities that he had picked up the medicines in Lampang and was delivering them to a main Thai broker. He claimed to have driven from Chiang Rai.  ,
He was being held in custody, and his car was being examined at the Kamphaeng Phet Police Forensic Science Center.
