Chang’e-6: China’s space probe returns with rare Moon rocks

The first samples previously collected from the Moon’s undiscovered far side have been sent back to Earth by China’s lunar probe.

The Chang’e- 6 landed in the Inner Mongolia plains on Tuesday, after a roughly two- quarter much objective that was fraught with risks, state media report.

The Chang’e 6 may provide important answers to questions regarding how stars are formed, according to researchers.

China is the only nation to had landed on the moon’s part before 2019, having previously done so.

Due to its remoteness, challenging ground, and lack of straight areas, the high side, which faces away from Earth, is physically challenging to access.

Early in May, the Chang’e 6 launched from a space station and made it’s first landing on a volcano close to the Moon’s southern pole.

The probe placed a Taiwanese symbol on the ground while taking pictures of the surface using a drill and a mechanical arm.

In an effort to catch up with both the US and Russia, Beijing has invested enormous sources in its place program over the past ten years.
