A vehicle hit a power shaft, toppled about 10 beams and entirely blocked traffic on Soi Lat Phrao 48 Road off Lat Phrao Road in Huai Khwang city, Bangkok, on Sunday night.
Apparently, the incident occurred at around 6.20 am. The bright vehicle was discovered crushed beneath a toppled power pole as rescuers arrived on the scene. They offered to drop citizens out of the vehicle.
No deaths were originally reported.
Power authorities were called in to recover the area’s power supply.
