Cabinet approves Opas as next health permanent secretary

The cabinet has approved the appointment of the director-general of Department associated with Disease Control, Opas Karnkawinpong, as following permanent secretary pertaining to public health.

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul proposed his visit to the weekly cupboard meeting on Tuesday for approval.

  The particular cabinet approved the appointment of Doctor Opas.

Dr Opas may succeed Dr Kiattiphum Wongrachit, who will stop working on Sept thirty. He will take up their new position upon Oct 1, getting the 32nd long term secretary for general public health.
