The highlight of the most recent deep-fried sausage eating challenge was “world champion” Worachai Wijitwongjaroen’s record-breaking feat in support of one of Buri Ram’s signature dishes.

In the sixth annual competition, Mr. Worachai won the title by consuming 65 meatballs in five minutes, two more than the earlier history.

The goal was to boost the province’s go market as well as support local businesses.

More than 100 candidates from all over the nation took part in different groups at Sunday and Monday activities.

Since Lalisa” Lisa” Manoban, a K-pop star and Buri Ram local, first expressed her affection for them during a visit to her home in 2021, deep-fried meatballs have become popular.
