Bryce Dallas Howard says she was paid less than Chris Pratt for ‘Jurassic World’ films

The particular actress, speaking to Insider , said she had been paid “so much less” than her co-star Chris Pratt for their work in the “Jurassic World” movies, released in 2015, 2018 and 2022.
“When I started discussing for ‘Jurassic, ‘ it was 2014, also it was a different world, and I was at a great disadvantage, ” she said. “And, unfortunately, you have to subscribe to three movies, therefore your deals are set. ”
Eventually, the lady said, she talked about the disparity along with Pratt, who got action to get their co-star equal terms on other franchise-related opportunities, like online games and theme park trips.
“He literally told me: ‘You guys no longer even have to do everything. I’m gonna perform all the negotiating. We’re gonna be paid the same, and you do not have to think about this, Bryce, ‘” Howard said. “And I love him a lot for doing that. I really do, due to the fact I’ve been paid a lot more for those kinds of elements than I actually was for the movie. ”

In the films, Howard stars as Claire Dearing, the Jurassic World operations manager, and Pratt plays Owen Grady, the Velociraptor expert and dinosaur handler.
