During a authorities raid on a home in the area state of Muang, six American citizens were taken into custody along with 39 smaller tanks of nitric oxide, or laughing gas.
The attack, launched on Thursday, found the six international men, all American immigrants, were inside the house, the arresting group said on Friday.
Six bags containing 3 kg of dried cannabis flowers were found in six sacks inside the room and three kilograms of dried hemp buds were found next to the door of one of the rooms on Thursday.
According to the police, the owner of the room acknowledged that the flowers belonged to him. When requested, he refused to provide a force to buy cannabis flowers.
39 little tanks of laughing fuel were also taken from the house’s parking lot by the arresting team. Six people are currently being held in police custody.
According to authorities, the defendants were in Thailand on tourist visa that allowed go, business relations and short-term job for no more than 60 days. The visa had not yet expired.
Arrested were Abdifatah Gulaid Abdi Ahmed, 31, Esah Muse Mohamed, 22, Ismail Mustafa Waleed Ahmed Taha, 20, Noah Ihiekwe Chidi Eze, 30, Darian Gledhill, 32, and Kieran Gregory, 26.
