Bridges to be lit up for King”s birthday

Lighting show aims to promote tourism, says division

Beginning Friday, the Rural Roads Department did light three bridge over the Chao Phraya River in celebration of His Majesty the King‘s 72nd birthday, which falls on July 28.

The office made the announcement on Thursday that beautiful signals may remain illuminated at the Maha Chetsadabodinthranuson Bridge in Nonthaburi and the Bhumibol 1 and 2 Bridges, which connect Bangkok and Samut Prakan. The screen will work until Tuesday.

The three roads may be illuminated from 7pm to 10pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, with the lights shining until nightfall on Monday.

The nation is holding a number of events to honor the King’s holiday, which falls on Monday this time.

The ministry claimed that the lighting show aims to promote tourism and highlight the Chao Phraya’s magnificence.
