BOAO, China: The New Development Bank ( NDB), set up by the BRICS group of emerging economies, aims to make about US$ 5 billion in loans this year, its vice president, Zhou Qiangwu, said on Tuesday ( Mar 26 ).
” During the incident, our company has been somewhat disturbed, and now everything is going up on track”, Zhou told Reuters on the outside of the annual Boao Forum.
Zhou did never provide specifics on how the lender might have gotten off track, but said China and India have gotten a little bit more expense from the lender than other people.
Headquartered in Shanghai, the NDB was set up in 2015 by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, collectively known as the BRICS locations.
Zhou also said he expected China’s economy to grow about 5 per cent this time, in line with the government’s goal.
