Seven trans women have been detained in Yosotho on suspicion of reportedly coercing boys into watching outrageous videos and selling the footage to a private audience.
Police raided eight spots in the northern county after receiving a tip-off about the group’s actions, said Pol Col Sarawut Chantawong, chairman of the 3rd Place of the Anti-Human Trafficking Division.
According to an investigation, the group allegedly conned kids into attending local music before tricking them into performing offensive functions and secretly recording video to post for sale on their personal groups social media, he said.
Researchers also found some videos that showed the survivors being gang-raped, said Pol Col Sarawut.
According to him, authorities seized eight mobile phones used to spread the videos and made the arrests.
All of defendants first confessed. They were accused of producing and disseminating offensive media featuring minors as a plot to transportation in people.
