According to authorities, the person who allegedly committed a stabbing spree in a Sydney shopping mall appears to have targeted women.
When Joel Cauchi, 40, started kicking people with a long knife on Saturday, he caused the packed Westfield Bondi Junction challenging to become alarmed.
The New South Wales officers director told Australia’s ABC News that it was “obvious” Mr Cauchi focused on people.
The just man killed in the attack was surveillance guard Faraz Tahir, 30, who tried to intervene.
