Ten armed rangers were hurt on Monday night when a bomb detonated close to the Muang Pattani police station in the Muang district.

At 8.07am, the weapon detonated in an alley behind the TK Park Pattani learning center.

Ten armed soldiers were injured. Some people suffered stomach pains from the trauma, while others were struck by debris. They were transported to Pattani Hospital by rescue personnel.

Authorities said the weapon was fixed to a bike.

A man riding the azure Honda Wave to the field while blocking the traffic with a blue hat, a long-sleeved natural t-shirt, and cream pants were captured on security camera footage. At 7.12am, he parked it there and ran away.

Police and military rangers gathered in the alley soon after for their day assembly before beginning program patrols. Afterwards, the bomb went off the bike.
