Beginning on Wednesday, the Blue Line’s MRT survive does increase by at least two baht.
The line operator, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Plc ( BEM), claimed the increase is the result of a contractual obligation that allows it to be raised every two years to reflect changes in the consumer price index. Passengers will now be charged 17- 45 ringgit to drive the Blue Line, away from 17- 43 ringgit. The new rate may remain in effect until July 2, 2026.
The BEM stated that a 10 % discount is available for cardholders of student credit and a 50 % discount for those with senior credit.
Customers may visit the BEM’s data center at 02- 624- 5200 or find more details on BEM social media platforms.
