Suspended deputy national police chiefPol Gen Surachate” Big Joke” Hakparnon Tuesday filed a petition with the House Speaker seeking a probe into the allegedly unusual wealth of a National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) member who is also on the committee investigating a money laundering case against him.
The complaint, with names of 20, 000 individuals, requested a council consider the removal of the NACC director, whose name was withheld, following his alleged role in bribery and extreme social violations.
” This is the first time a state official from an independent organization has been charged under the terms of their legal rights,” Pol Gen Surachate said. All names were true, and no individual fight was involved, he said.
He added this was a fresh activity for Thailand, which showed the power of the people. Additionally, Pol Gen Surachate created” Hakparn.com,” a new site for the people to sign a petition to have the accused removed from the commission.
Due to the person having a strong personal issue with him, Pol Gen Surachate complained to the NACC in April in a plea objecting to the appointment of a commissioner to the 14-member panel looking into his money-laundering case.
The director claimed that Pol Gen Surachate was the one who was the subject of 2021 issues that he was unqualified to serve as a director of the NACC.
The commissioner then threatened Pol Gen Surachate, saying:” You should wish you do n’t need my help in the future”, the petition said. This director, according to Pol Gen Surachate, even had a record of inappropriate behavior.
