According to Paetongtarn Shinawatra, chairwoman of the National Committee on Soft Power Development and the leader of the Pheu Thai Party, the government will launch its One Family One Soft Power ( Ofos ) project in June and aims to create 20 million jobs with a minimum annual salary of 200,000 baht.
The project’s up-skilling and re-skilling training will be offered to citizens free of charge, according to Ms. Paetongtarn in an upgrade on Ofos. Registration does begin in early June via an online or business network, and there will be onsite channels at regional offices of the National Village Fund and the Urban Community Office.
The programs are expected to possess 266,400 virtual participants and 30,210 site participants. They will handle vocational skills in focused industries, including the meal, movie and theatre, music, sports, fashion, festival, book, video game, tourism and art industries.
Ms Paetongtarn said one of the site’s culinary training called” One Village One Thai Food Chef” has materialised. It was created by Chumpol Jangprai, a well-known Thai restaurant and head of the National Committee on Soft Power Development’s Food Industry Steering Committee, and his team.
She stated that the Pheu Thai Party views the soft power sector as a chance to raise Thais ‘ money, transforming Thailand from a middle-income nation to one with high salary.
Activities creating sweet forces, such as restaurants, Muay Thai soldiers, Muay Thai instructors and dressmakers, may allow Thais to earn more by providing them with an income of at least 200,000 baht per month.
Ofos is targeted at all citizens who are looking to advance their skills, selected local community representatives, business owners, and those who want to own a business, she added. It is expected to create 20 million jobs for citizens.
In addition to attracting a lot of foreign visitors to Thailand, Ms. Paetongtarn thanked all sectors for assisting with the recent” Maha Songkran World Water Festival.”
When asked about her criticism of being away from the country for the festival, she claimed that she had been to several festival opening ceremonies since April 12 and that she had traveled to Hong Kong in the absence.
She demanded more understanding from the general public, claiming she needs to divide her time between school and living with her family.
