KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara’s international reserves amounted to US$106. 3bil as at Sept 15, down from US$108. 2bil as at Aug thirty.

“The reserves position is sufficient in order to finance 5. three months of imports of goods and services, and it is 1 . 0 moments of the total short-term exterior debt, ” the particular central bank said in a statement.

Bank Negara mentioned the main components of the international reserves had been foreign currency reserves (US$93. 9bil), International Monetary Fund reserves position (US$1. 3bil), specific drawing rights (US$5. 7bil), gold (US$2. 3bil) and other reserve assets (US$3. 1bil).
