European affairs: According to a spokesman for the government, Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh will travel to Thailand from April 24 to April 29.
According to him, Ms. Hasina is coming to visit on the advice of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.
During the visit, both leaders may witness the signing of several agreements and Memoranda of Knowledge, he said.
Mr. Srettha will also provide a luncheon at Government House for Ms. Hasina and her group, he added.
According to Mr. Chai, this will be Ms. Hasina’s first visit since 2002. Additionally, it may give officials from Thailand and Bangladesh the chance to discuss ways to improve diplomatic ties and foster cooperation in a variety of fields, particularly with the start of free trade agreement discussions.
Thailand and Bangladesh may also explore opportunities to collaborate in communication, commerce and people-to-people relationships, he said.
