Bangladesh again shuts schools due to heatwave

Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, the minister of education, stated on Sunday that if the heat in a neighborhood exceeds 42 degrees Fahrenheit, those districts ‘ educational facilities will be shut down.

Experts have said culture change is contributing to more frequent, intense, and prolonged wildfires during summer months.

Except for April 9 and 10, there has been a thunderstorm every day in Bangladesh this quarter. Citizens have been advised to stay inside during the time.

But for those who work outside, like wagon driver Mohammed Shameem, there is not much relief.

” It is too difficult to work outdoors in a sweltering heatwave.” Because there are n’t many people leaving, getting passengers is difficult. But we have no other choice but to go to work, Shameem said.

Tens of thousands of chariot users in Dhaka are suffering in the scorching sunlight while trying to find labor, while the majority of people choose to stay in.

” In my entire life, I have not experienced like temperature.” Although the summer should have been heated, there would have been gusts of wind and weather. But it’s not happening this day. ” People are suffering a lot,” said Shaheb Ali, a rider.
