A new app for drivers that enables automatic deductions when they leave commercial car parks was released on Wednesday ( Jul 17 ) by payment solutions provider AXS.
The game, known as AXS Drive, aims to reduce issues like drivers getting stuck at leave gantries due to insufficient funds or issues with the electronic park system.
The app , links a driver’s credit or debit card to their licence plate and in-vehicle unit ( IU) number.
To document a car’s entry and exit times, it uses a license plate identification program. Parking costs are then taken out of the authorized cards.  ,
AXS Bills CEO Quah Chun Han responded to a question about what would occur if a registered debit card had run out of cash. The chain would continue to operate, but notifications would be sent to the consumer to make payment arrangements within a specific time frame.
According to Mr. Quah, their account may be blocked until the payment has been settled if the person does n’t settle the harmony within the specified period.  ,
Now, the game can be used at 12 vehicle parks. They are:  ,
- The Heeren
- Singapore Shopping Centre
- Far East Plaza
- GB Tower
- Frontier
- Wisma Atria
- E!Hub
- Begonia Carpark
- Aranda Country Club
- D’Resort
- Southside@80 Siloso Road
- ABI Plaza
By the end of the year, AXS hopes to expand this to 100 vehicles parks. According to the report, this will account for 12 % of the commercial car park segment’s market share.  ,  ,
Due to a one-year special agreement with the credit card company, AXS Drive, which is free to download for Android and iOS, is now only compatible with Mastercard.
Another credit card payment options may be added, according to AXS.  ,
Additionally included are real-time updates on traffic conditions, a detector for complimentary driving vouchers, and a parking place accessibility checker.
Through the app, users will also be able to , control common racing company obligations, such as highway income renewals and good payments.
