On Sunday ( Aug 18 ), Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced measures as part of what he termed a “reset” of policies to realize a “restored Singapore Dream.” He also announced measures as part of his maiden National Day Rally speech.

With the approval of mothers or fathers, the government will offer 10 additional days of shared left.  ,
This will be implemented gradually, starting with six days ‘ left for children born from Apr 1, 2025.  , The whole 10 weeks did use a year later.  ,
