Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra stated that she is prepared to take part in the House’s public conference on Thursday.

After the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the prime minister promised to release the president’s 90-day functionality and set out its plans for the following year when parliament resumes.

But, this is not the time for her to answer questions from the antagonism, she added.

Ms. Paetongtarn claimed that she has delegated that duty to officials who are directly in charge of the concerns that are brought up.

They will respond to questions with more detail and be more clear. But of course, I have an intention to join ( the interpellation session ). I will never leave my commitments”, said the prime chancellor when asked about the Women’s Party’s demand that she attend to reply in person.

She claimed that because she had to give a effectiveness statement and that a large number of senior civil servants would also be present, Thursday was not the ideal day for that.

Every Thursday, according to opposition punch key Pakornwut Udompipatskul, representation classes are set up, but the criticism has prepared questions to ask the top. That job may be performed by Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, head of the Women’s Party, he said.

The prime minister’s meeting on December 12 may coincide with the opening day of the legislative session, according to the organization. But, we have previously informed her that we have questions to ask her”, Mr Pakornwut said.

There is another method for the prime minister to acknowledge the significance of congress, which represents the electorate, and that a majority of congress members voted her in as prime minister. If she believes she may prioritize checks and balances, she really address the inquiries we have. He claimed that this will increase public trust in a number of things.

This program, the government may be subject to a motion of no confidence. The opposition may wait until the top is ready to answer the crucial questions, according to Mr. Pakornwut.

A group of 70 people have complained to the Department of Special Investigation ( DSI) that they were duped into purchasing apartment products, resulting in total loss of 3 billion ringgit.

Pavena Hongsakula, chairman of the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women, led the group in filing the issue on Wednesday. She claimed that the team only had about 200 affected people in it.

On Saturday, the plaintiffs complained to the basis that they had been defrauded by a debt-relief firm that offered to pay their payment card payments. In returning, they had to signal contracts to buy property products.

One victim, who gave her name only as Meen, said that the corporation, located in Khlong 2 in Lam Luk Ka city of Pathum Thani, contacted her and offered to live her credit card debt equivalent to 900, 000 baht. She claimed that although the business did give her debts, she had no idea how she knew.

She also reported to the Khu Khot police station in a statement that the business had paid her back in exchange for the loan. She was required to agree to participate in a condominium getting project under a contract with the organization.

She initially assumed she had agreed to purchase one product, but she later learned that the business had submitted her paperwork to numerous institutions to obtain loans. She is currently owed 16 million ringgit for the purchase of four condominiums.

She claimed that the business had promised to pay for the remaining three units. According to the agreement, the company agreed to buy back all of the models within two years. But, it gradually defaulted, leaving her responsible for the entire loan and facing lawsuits from the lenders.

Other victims ‘ views were identical. Some were tricked into purchasing several products, resulting in debts totaling up to 40 million ringgit.

The subjects set up a Collection team that has more than 200 people, said Ms Pavena. All was extremely frightened because the business had already shut down.

Ms. Pavena urged the DSI to work with lenders to negotiate debt reform for the victims, conduct an investigation into the company and other companies that use similar strategies, and post ads on social media.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra stated on Wednesday that no public forum will be held on the contentious 2001 memorandum of understanding ( MoU) with Cambodia regarding maritime claims in the Gulf of Thailand.

She stated that the government welcomes comments from the general public, and that interested parties can make tips through the existing channels.

She also addressed the government issue center to hear the complaint that original yellow-shirt protest head Sondhi Limthongkul filed this week.

” We take all into account because we are aware that every plea has its own unique viewpoints.” But we don’t plan to hold a common platform like that”, said the prime minister.

When questioned if that implied that the state would carry on the anticipated conversations with Cambodia under the 2001 deal, Ms. Paetongtarn stated that the government is reviewing the information that was provided to it.

She claimed that the Joint Technical Committee (JTC ) to handle the negotiations has not yet been established.

Phumtham Wechayachai, the minister of defense, announced on Wednesday that he had not yet seen all of Mr. Sondhi’s demands.

” We had listen to one’s thoughts. Mr Sondhi’s see is just one tone. I believe there are many others who think differently”, he said.

Mr Phumtham brushed off Mr Sondhi’s threat to keep city demonstrations, saying people have the right to peaceful assembly under the law.

Mr Sondhi, 77, led the now-defunct People’s Alliance for Democracy ( PAD ) against the former Thaksin Shinawatra administration. submitted his complaint on Monday urging the state to renounce the MoU, which was signed while Thaksin was in power.

He said the agreement created an overlapping claims area ( OCA ) covering 26, 000 square kilometres, mainly benefiting Cambodia. The region is thought to have a lot of fossil fuel resources.

He gave the government a 15-day response deadline and demanded that the Constitutional Court decide whether the 2001 arrangement was legal.

The maritime boundary separation and shared creation must be carried out as an “indivisible package,” with a JTC set up to examine it under the MoU.

During a visit by Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa to Adelaide, the country’s capital, diplomatic cooperation has been highlighted in the areas of agricultural systems, alternative energy, and knowledge.

Mr Maris was welcomed by his American counterpart, Penny Wong, and even met with Frances Adamson, the government of South Australia, on Wednesday.

He reiterated Thailand’s targets for international cooperation in foods, power and human security. He said that these are regions where Thailand and Australia have a lot of potential for mutual enhancement.

The chancellor highlighted South Australia’s experience in developing green agricultural systems, which can improve food safety.

In contrast, South Australia’s advancements in channeling other energy technologies, especially from gas, the moon and the weather, can serve as a foundation for energy cooperation.

Australia has suggested that Thailand take part in combined development and research in this area in order to become a world leader in alternative energy. &nbsp,

Thailand’s role in regional cooperation, particularly with India, in the development of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation ( Bimstec) was also emphasised.

He claimed that Thailand has a lot of potential in the area of care, especially given its commitment to develop its universal health coverage plan.

” We have proposed the’ 30 Baht Healthcare Anywhere ‘ plan ( as a unit for assistance ) and invited Australia to work in academic initiatives with Thai institutions. These have attracted the American side’s interest,” said Mr. Maris.

The minister even made a visit to Adelaide University’s Waite Campus, which is a gateway for research and education in Southern Hemisphere gardening.

The college is particularly interested in international study fields like plant biology and natural source science.

” Thailand has experience as a local food hotspot, aligning with South Australia’s skills in detail agriculture”, he said.

The Thai embassy in Canberra is “tasked with looking into ways to improve cooperation and adjust South American agricultural systems for the benefit of Thai landowners.”

He met with South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, who spoke about economic cooperation and clean energy development, as well as facilitating the evacuation of manufacturing foundations to Thailand.

” Many Thai power companies, such as Ratch Group, have invested in Australia”, said Mr Maris. ” South Australia is working on alternative hydrogen technology and is advancing its shift to clean electricity through solar and wind. This association offers both positive outcomes and challenges.

In addition, Ms. Wong claimed in a media release that Australia and Thailand have a long-standing, corporate partnership.

” We share historic connections between our people and businesses, and cooperate carefully on the energy transition, training, trade and investment, surveillance and defence”, she said.

In 2022 and 2023 Thailand was South Australia’s fifth-largest buying companion, with goods valued at 21.5 billion ringgit and export value 21.6 billion ringgit.

Thailand and Germany have renewed their commitment to developing a road transportation program that is both efficient and environmentally friendly.

The original agreement between the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport and Thailand’s Ministry of Transport was signed on November 23, 2016, and it has since been renewed half. Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit stated on Wednesday that it was renewed for another two decades in Bangkok on Monday.

He said,” This has demonstrated both countries ‘ commitment to working together to advance new rail system technology in order to maintain environmental protection.”

Thailand and Germany are now committed to working side by side to maintain their present road transportation networks, an important step toward “future mobility,” according to Ernst Reichel, the German adviser to Thailand, who spoke at the signing ceremony.

The embassy cited the cooperation as an illustration of how two countries can work together to address pressing global issues like climate change, visitors congestion, and ineffective asset management.

This could be a means of ensuring a versatile and sustainable future for years, he said.

The German-Thai Railway Association ( GTRA ) will continue to play a crucial role in ensuring the continuation of rail transport development cooperation, he said.

The GTRA is made up of members from various companies, road users, experts, support services, educators and students.

Germany has been providing Thailand with professional assistance for the continued development of its road transport system and upgrades to its transportation system in accordance with the mutual declaration of intent, as the contract is known, according to Mr. Suriya.

According to him, European technical assistance has made it easier for Thailand to work more effectively to reduce carbon emissions and create new transportation options that are more environmentally friendly.

The minister added that several innovations have been made in this Thai-German agreement for use in a number of Thai rail transportation projects, including the Blue Line electric rail system, Airport Rail Link, and Suvarnabhumi airport’s Automated People Mover ( APM), among others.

Rukchanok Srinork, a People’s Party MP who is appealing views for lese-majeste and system crime, on Wednesday survived an attempt to have her loan revoked.

The Criminal Court on Dec 13 next year sentenced Ms Rukchanok to six years in prison, without suspension, for breaking Part 112 of the Criminal Code, the lese-majeste laws, and the Computer Crime Act. &nbsp,

The judge granted her temporary launch while an appeal was pending. The MP was told to refrain from engaging in activities related to those she had been charged, and bail was set at 500, 000 rmb. She was given permission to carry on her tasks as an MP for Bangkok as a result.

She was found guilty by the judge for messages about vaccination allocations on her Twitter handle @nanaicez between July 18 and August 9, 2021, which included images of His Majesty the King.

One article accused the government of using Covid-19 vaccine distribution to promote the republic’s image, which the judge considered slander, it said in a statement.

Academic Thankawin Ratthanawatankul, a professor at the University of Oxford, filed a petition on October 28 to withdraw the criticism MP’s loan, alleging that her new Facebook posts about the monarchy violated the terms of her release.

The jury received Mr. Thankawin and Ms. Rukchanok’s testimony on November 26 and rendered its decision on Wednesday.

The defendant’s blog was an expression of a public opinion, according to the judges, and it did not violate her parole conditions.

Two problems raised

Ms. Rukchanok said the applicant had raised two problems following the ruling, her Instagram posts and her bail guarantee.

Chaithawat Tulathon, next president of the Move Forward Party, the president of the Women’s Party, posted bail on Ms Rukchanok’s representative last December. But, when he lost his MP position after Move Forward was dissolved, the principal was in question. According to Ms. Rukchanok, she finally placed money in the same amount that the judge had set aside to solve the issue.

The MP claimed that her Facebook posts included remarks about recruitment in general and comments about reports of an army conscript washing an officer’s wife’s underwear.

She defended her expression of opinion, arguing that she should never judge her opinions because she was obligated to express her opinions for the sake of the public interest as an elected member of the electorate.

In the 2023 general election, Ms. Rukchanok won the district of Bangkok, where Bang Bon, the home of the Ubamrung home, was located. She defeated Thin Ubamrung, the brother of former legislator Chalerm Ubamrung, by more than 20, 000 seats.

Another MPs face costs

Two additional People’s Party MPs are also facing lese-majeste situations. In connection with a 2021 protest calling for the transfer of political prisoners, Chonthicha Jangrew was given a two-year prison sentence in May of this year. She is free on parole until an appeal is filed.

In connection with his actions as the WeVo guard head in the anti-government protests in 2020 and 2021, Bangkok MP Piyarat” Toto” Jongthep is accused of three counts under Part 112.

After a jury in Kalasin declared that the evidence against him was insufficient, he won a unique conviction on one of the charges on October 11.

The Move Forward Party’s dissolution was announced by the Supreme Court earlier this year on the grounds that the proposed amendment to the lese-majeste rules posed a threat to the legal king. It was reborn as the Women’s Party.
