Ruangkrai Leekitwana, a political activist, has filed a complaint with the Election Commission (EC ) regarding the legitimacy of her resignation as director of 20 companies as well as the allegations that her father, Thaksin Shinawatra, allegedly manipulated Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

On Wednesday, Mr. Ruangkrai, a member of the Palang Pracharath Party ( PPRP ), wrote to the EC to request an investigation into Ms. Paetongtarn on both issues.

The first is related to her leaving her position as director at 20 different companies. Fourteen are based in Bangkok, three are located in Lamphun, two are in Pathum Thani, including the Alpine Golf Club, and one is in Nakhon Ratchasima.

All of the defections, which took effect soon, were submitted by Ms Paetongtarn on Aug 15, the day before the House of Representatives voted her in as prime minister.

Mr. Ruangkrai inquired how she could send so many resignations on her own in a single moment.

He claimed that he asked Ms. Paetongtarn to provide evidence of her defections, but she declined.

The next point involves Ms. Paetongtarn’s alleged moral obligation to her father as prime minister.

No social group is permitted to take any action that would produce the political group and its people to remain centered, either directly or indirectly, according to the Organic Act on Political Parties.

A military change listing is being wrapped up while waiting for new&nbsp, Defence Minister Phumtham Wechayachai and his assistant, Gen Natthapol Nakpanich, to link up any loose ends, according to a military supply.

At a meeting on Tuesday, which was primarily attended by six leading officers and representatives from the government and incumbent leaders of the armed forces, the proposed record containing the appointments of fresh leaders of the military forces and another high-ranking positions was discussed.

The conference, which was presided over by departed defense secretary Sutin Klungsang, lasted for about three days until 5 p.m., according to the source.

For the article of military commander-in-chief, the decisions boiled down to Gen Tharaphong Malakham, an assistant military commander, and Gen Phana Khlaeoplotthuk, the military chief-of-staff, according to the cause.

At the end of the conversation, army chief Gen Charoenchai Hintao affirmed his election of Gen Phana, said the source.

At the same time, Gen Charoenchai had likewise nominated Lt Gen Amarit Bunsuya, captain of the 1st Army Corps, as the fresh 1st Army Region captain, said the source.

Lt Gen Amarit, who worked for many years at the 21st Infantry Brigade Queen’s Guard before he rose through the ranks and became the 1st Army Corps chief, is known to be a protégé of Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, the former prime minister who is now a part of the royal government.

Gen Charoenchai had to choose between whom to nominate as his alternative because he had to deal with several expectations from different parties, both inside and outside the military, according to the source.

Despite strong concerns from a number of senior officials, Navy captain Adm. Adung Phan-iam’s decision to select Adm. Chiraphon Wongwit, a special assistant to the Royal Thai Navy, as his son was confirmed at Wednesday’s meet.

The primary factor being that he had a degree from a maritime school in Germany, was his foreign training. No military commanders in Thailand have recently held a bachelor’s diploma from a foreign entity. &nbsp,

Adm Adung, nevertheless, has chosen to disregard this history and left the shake-up matter to become decided by recently appointed Defence Minister Phumtham Wechayachai.

Before the deadline of Sept. 15, the military rejig will need to be finalized. On October 1, the new commanders will begin their duties, indicating the start of the new fiscal year.

A petition asking for a decision on whether the Thai-Cambodian memorandum of understanding from 2001 regarding combined development in the Gulf of Thailand is in violation of the Thai Constitution was rejected on Wednesday.

Deputy Palang Pracharath Party head Paiboon Nititawan&nbsp, lodged the complaint, which claimed the 2001 MoU had not been approved by parliament before it was signed.

It was used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs to bargain coastal matters with Cambodia.

Mr. Paiboon claimed that the controversy violated his legal rights, and he requested that the Constitutional Court get both parties to end their discussions.

According to the judges ‘ decision, the Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs ‘ documents and evidence to the court indicated that the issue involved the state’s obligations as outlined in Chapter 5 of the charter.

The judges argued that the actions taken by the Department of Treaties and Legal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not support Mr. Paiboon’s state that they had violated his rights. Additionally, the judges made the case that Mr. Paiboon’s state was only his personal opinion of the MoU’s legality.

The judge ruled 6: 3 to reject the plea because it did not meet the requirements set forth in Section 46 of the laws governing court techniques. The lot courts were Nakharin Mektrairat, Panya Udchachon, Udom Sittiwirattham, Wiroon Saengthian, Banjong Wongprat and Udom Rathamarit.

After the Ombudsman failed to forward his request for courtroom action within the 60-day distribution date, Mr. Paiboon submitted the complaint to the judge in the middle of June.

He claimed when he submitted the complaint that the office and the government continued to use it as a guide to the 26 000 square kilometers of regional waters in the Gulf of Thailand, which Thailand has independence over, despite earlier acknowledging that the MoU had never won parliamentary acceptance.

But, Maris Sangiampongsa, the country’s foreign minister, has defended the MoU, claiming it was not a convention, had no binding provisions, and that there was no agreement between the two countries.

Mr. Maris argued that the MoU had no duty and did not deal Thailand’s sovereignty over an OCA on Koh Kood in the border state of Trat.

A 5-meter-deep trench collapsed on top of a Thai worker on Wednesday, leaving him with only his body and was pulled alive from the soil. &nbsp,

The 28-year-old, identified only as Jin, was working in a drains channel&nbsp, being dug in front of Wat Boon Samphan in tambon Nong Phrue of Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung area. It caved in some places. &nbsp,

When Sawang Boriboon Foundation rescuers arrived, they discovered the boy’s colleagues digging barefoot and reaching him.

He was stranded underneath a lot of dirt, which made the recovery effort challenging. They excavated the sandy soil with the aid of a shovel on a vehicle until the Cambodian’s head and hands came out. &nbsp,

They soon put an oxygen mask on Mr. Jin after he had been suffocating beneath the soil for about ten days. He was freed and lifted out after half an hour by them. &nbsp,

He was unconscious but not unconscious and able to respond to inquiries. He was taken to Bang Lamung Hospital with scratches on his system.

The tunnel is 5 feet full. The trench was thought to have collapsing because of the latest heavy rains that had sprayed the soil. It was rapid. The site’s brain specialist claimed that there were no warning symptoms.

PHUKET: The total ruling in the case involving a European man who was accused of punching a woman doctor who was sat on steps at Yamu Beach on February 24th, 2014 has been made available.

The judge gave the accused, 45-year-old Urs Fehr, the benefit of fear, saying the plaintiffs had presented no distinct evidence proving the alleged physical abuse.

The&nbsp, judge’s ruling was delivered on Tuesday, and it was made public on Wednesday.

On February 24, an incident took place at Yamu Beach in Phuket’s Thalang city. Mr. Fehr, also known as David, allegedly kicked Dr. Thandao Chandam, 26, in the rear while she and a friend were sitting on actions on the beach and watching the entire moon from his occupied mansion. &nbsp,

The person previously claimed that he had mistakenly believed that the physician and her companion had trespassed on his house and that he had slipped on the steps.

A picture showed that Dr. Thandao turning her face to the correct and the back in the direction of Mr. Fehr, who was approaching them, according to the written decision released on Wednesday.

She may have confirmed that the gentleman kicked her and given information about how the alleged attack took place if Mr. Fehr had actually punched Dr. Thandao. Because the field was sufficiently lit and it was also a full moon, the judge said, the doctor should have been allowed to provide confirmation and the details.

The doctor reportedly got up and walked away from the picture in a regular manner, according to the court’s video footage. That was in opposition to what she claimed a police interrogator said about the European man’s kick that caused her to advance.

Also, the doctor did not ask the European male about his purpose for the alleged attack. Typically, a person may have posed that topic to an intruder if there had been no prior conflict, the court said.

The officers interrogator’s claim that the doctor sat on a next step away from the beach was also made by the court. If that were the defendant was not push her if he stood on the top action. The doctor may have elaborated on the alleged abuse if the person had kicked her and stood on the next step, the courtroom said.

The doctor and a public prosecutor who were also a co-plainant told the judge that the alleged blow had injured her, but the jury determined that the dentist who stood as their testimony had only been informed of the alleged wound through a photo and an unofficial report from a nurse.

Additionally, the attorney did not call the caregiver who posed for Dr. Thandao to give testimony in court.

Given the lack of apparent data and repeated protestations of the accused, &nbsp, the judge gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Additionally, the jury rejected Dr. Thandao’s claim that the event led to her developing posttraumatic stress disorder. According to researchers who were quoted by the judge, PTSD occurs after a person experiences a life-or-death experience, is seriously hurt, or is sexually abused.

Additionally, the court reversed its earlier prohibition on Mr. Fehr from leaving the country on Tuesday.

On the way to Mae Sot, the bridge crosses a big river in the Umphang district’s tambon Mo Kro.

Heavy rains covered the bridge, and it was believed that the truck had fled the damaged finish at around 3am, dropping roughly 5 meters. &nbsp, The vehicle was critically injured when found by emergency responders, and was rushed to hospital.

Anutin sees bright future for cannabis

Anutin Charnvirakul
Anutin Charnvirakul

The Bhumjaithai Party’s head, Anutin Charnvirakul, expressed confidence in the new government’s pro-cannabis policy on Tuesday, citing the party’s ability to pick up where Srettha Thavisin’s departure scuppered.

In July, Mr. Srettha and Mr. Anutin made a compromise on the cannabis problem by enforcing a draft bill to regulate the plant’s apply for health and research and development objectives. This marked a U-turn in the administration’s bid to relist hemp as a narcotic substance.

One of the six policies Bhumjaithai was submitting to the decision Pheu Thai Party to be incorporated into the government’s key policies, which will be declared afterwards in parliament, Mr. Anutin said on Tuesday, was pushing to complete the cannabis control bill to completely control cannabis use to advance people’s health and for research purposes.

This plan was worded as the research and development of Thai ingredients, including cannabis, he said.

Since becoming a new coalition spouse and asking the original opposition party if it would be a problem, Mr. Anutin said the original opposition group might not have enough votes to stop the expenses even if it remained opposed, Mr. Anutin said.

” This new Democrat team is n’t the same as the previous one,” said Mr. Anutin,” but I think this one is different.” I also think that Chalermchai Sri-on’s team spirit and his apparent better understanding of the needs of the public are what made this team succeed.

As for the government’s goal to push for an entertainment complex task, including a legitimate game, Mr Anutin said Bhumjaithai, as a vital partnership party, would support this as much as it is not abused to gain certain groups.

Really, I’m not concerned about this project because everyone seems to be doing a lot of respect for an ethical code that has a very broad scope now,” he said.

Different policies proposed by Bhumjaithai include decentralisation, equal access to education, better ocean control and clean energy, he said.
