The teenager was the fifth foreign national to be suspected of being killed in the incident, according to Thai authorities and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who died on Thursday after consuming methanol-contaminated alcohol in Laos.

Bianca Jones, 19, died last week in Vang Vieng, a South Asian city well-known for international travelers, about two days by road from Vientiane’s funds.

According to Col Phattanawong Chanphon, director of Muang authorities depot in Udon Thani state, she passed away on Thursday after being taken to a hospital in neighboring Thailand on November 18.

” The doctor who examined her said the cause of suicide was a alcohol poisoning, from false liquor”, the police official told Reuters.

” Her body had a lot of alcohol, which caused mental swelling,” she said.

After two Danes and one American, Jones was the third foreign visitor to pass away as a result of the poisoned alcohol, according to Asian media.

” This is every parent’s worst fear and a nightmare no one should have to endure”, Albanese told parliament on Thursday. In this heartbreaking moment,” all Australians express their deepest pity to them.”

Jones ‘ friend Holly Bowles, even 19, is in critical issue in hospital, Albanese said.

Fictitious alcohol is a problem in Laos, where Australia and Britain have institutions that issue cautioned travelers.

Methanol is a dangerous liquor that is used commercially as a liquid, chemical, and alternative fuel source, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says on its site.
