According to authorities, an American man who is wanted for robbing a friend of 21 million ringgit in Phuket and Samui has been detained in Pattaya.

The man was detained on Friday by Provincial Police Region 8 officers and Chon Buri authorities, who have only given him the name Vasilios, at a posh palace in the Bang Lamung area.
