A former Pheu Thai Party spokesman has requested an investigation into Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon‘s affairs based on leaked audio recordings, which he believes could expose the Palang Pracharath Party ( PPRP ) leader’s case for breaking the ethics law.

In connection with the comments made on the four audio clips, Prompong Nopparit petitioned the National Anti-Corruption Commission ( NACC ) on Thursday to launch an ethics investigation against Gen. Prawit, 79.

The first episodes of the Inside Thailand Television show on MCOT were aired on Wednesday during an event of the program. Mr. Prompong said he thinks Gen Prawit’s voice in the recordings is his and that it might provide evidence of poor conduct.

The recordings feature a boy’s voice in one-on-one phone conversations with different individuals. Palang Pracharath insists the music videos have been doctored, or perhaps created using artificial knowledge.

Mr. Prompong claimed that if the videos were authentic, Gen. Prawit had seriously violated social standards and was subject to a lifetime political restrictions.

In the first tape, the person can be heard saying that another man by the name of” O” was conspiring with him to remove him as party leader by going behind his back. The man continues to say that he will never leave the administration. ” O” denies the argument.

In another clip, the same person speaks of his ambition to become prime minister.

I’ve worked as the prime minister’s lieutenant for a while and have a lot of accomplishments. I want to request people to give me a chance to become number one from now on, he says.

The schedule of the audio is questionable. Given what appear to be links to then-prime secretary Prayut Chan-o-cha, critics claim they were probably made quite a while ago.

Mr. Prompong requested that the NACC look into the recordings, recognize the parties involved, and move the event to the Supreme Court’s Criminal Case Division for Persons Holding Political Positions.

He claimed that Suttipong Juljarern, the Ministry of Interior’s continuous minister, has confirmed that he is being listened to in one of the videos. However, a source claimed that he is not the individual with the” O” designation.

Mr. Prompong stated that he intends to file a new objection against Gen. Prawit over the poll commission’s audio on Friday and that he will ask the Anti-Money Laundering Office to check the withdrew general’s money on Monday.
