At least 20 injured in 6.4 earthquake in Nepal, felt in New Delhi

On Friday, November 3, a scale 6.4 disaster struck western Nepal, according to Nepal’s National Seismological Centre. Witnesses claimed the earthquake caused nearby homes to crack and structures as far away as New Delhi, India, to tremble.

Suresh Sunar, a city official in Jajarkot, told Reuters over the phone that at least 20 people have been rushed to the hospital with wounds.

According to the Egyptian government, the earthquake struck the Jajarkot city of Karnali state at 11:47 p.m. local time. Approximately 500 kilometers separate Jajarkot from Kathmandu, the nation’s capital.

The earthquake’s magnitude and depth were estimated by the German Research Centre for Geosciences( GFZ ) to be 6.2 and 10 km, respectively.
