PM wraps up a two-day journey to Cambodia.

According to Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( Asean ) has agreed to work together to strengthen its members ‘ bargaining power in dealing with the United States ‘ tariff increases.
She stated on Thursday that Washington’s mutual taxes on the bloc’s imports were among a number of issues that she and Thai Prime Minister Hun Manet discussed with her on the last day of her two-day formal visit to Cambodia.
Ms. Paetongtarn claimed that they discussed a potential model for Asean places ‘ assistance.

She declined to provide specifics about the topics that Washington had requested.
In order to reduce some trade taxes, Thailand recently made an offer to improve imports of US power, aviation, and agricultural products as part of its efforts to lessen the impact of the tariffs.
Thailand’s trade deficit with the United States was thought to be US$ 45.6 billion next month.
