A Chinese man has been detained in Hong Kong in connection with the death of Chinese TikTok aficiosi Yan Ruimin, whose body was discovered dumped in Chachoengsao on Saturday. Thai authorities said on Thursday that a Chinese person has been detained.
According to Pol Maj Gen Noppasil Poolsawat, assistant commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau in Bangkok, Hong Kong authorities detained Ma Qinyan after Thai officials requested assistance from Interpol.
