Army receives more Strykers

The Royal Thai Military has received a delivery 10 US-made Stryker armoured soldires carriers, which came recently at Laem Chabang port within Chon Buri.

The  automobiles, bought from the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, cost about nine hundred million baht. The RTA now provides 130 of them. The army purchased Stryker carriers in 3 batches-  of 70, 50 and ten – in the  2019, 2020 and 2021 fiscal many years respectively. The total plan for the vehicles is all about 9. 1 billion baht.

The procurement furthermore includes spare parts, equipment and testing  devices, along with training and maintenance support.

The ten vehicles were taken to the Ordnance Division in Saraburi over the weekend for inspection prior to being delivered to the particular 11th Infantry Division in Chachoengsao state.
