American woman caught smuggling meth from Phuket to Singapore

A 65-year-old American girl was detained after more than four kilograms of meth were discovered in her bag as she boarded a flight to Singapore. &nbsp,

When Melba Sharp checked into a Scoot Airlines counter at Phuket airport on Sunday evening, authorities from Sakhu depot in Thalang city searched her suitcase.

They discovered four containers of white stones, each wrapped in paper and cheap, and later hidden inside four bed linens. There were 4.3 kg of what was believed to be meth.

The fabric appeared to be heavier than the deals should have been when the policeman unwrapped the packages. &nbsp,

Ms Sharp, a resident of the state of California, was on her approach to Singapore on Scoot Airways journey TR653.

According to police chief Pol Col Salan Santisasanakul, a departing rider had a suggestion about an attempt to bring drugs through the airport, according to police.

The American female had been the subject of fear after they asked the low-cost airport for the list of passengers. &nbsp,

She was detained at the Sakhu police station on fear of trying to smuggle meth out of the state.
