Accused says 14-year-old had come to his apartments area to analyze

An American man who teaches English at a school in Bangkok has been detained in the Bang Khae district after being accused of sexually assaulting a modest in his apartment room.

Robert Le Roy Koehler, 41, was apprehended in front of a condo tower on Phetkasem Road in Bang Khae, authorities said on Wednesday.

On a subpoena issued by the Thon Buri Criminal Court on August 30 for the detention of a small under the age of 15 from filial care for vulgar reasons, he was wanted.

The arrest came after a 14-year-old girl’s mother complained that she had sent her child to a Phetkasem school on February 16 day. She attempted to call her child for more than two days after school, but she was unable to return her calls.

She suddenly spoke with her child the following night, telling her that she had gone searching by herself at The Mall Bang Kae.

The complainant claimed on March 6 that she learned what actually happened from a different school teacher who had been informed by a woman who was a daughter’s friend about the incident.

According to this bill, the British man apparently fondled and hugged the girl before taking her to his condo room.

During doubting, Mr Koehler denied the claims, claiming the lady had come to his place to research only.

He was being held without bail at the Phetkasem officers stop to file a lawsuit.
