The third and most recent runway at Suvarnabhumi Airport will be impacted by noise pollution by Airports of Thailand ( AoT ). The airport will pay compensation of 12 billion baht ($ 12 billion ).

The issue was discussed on Monday by some agencies, namely, the AoT, the Transport Ministry, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, in response to residents ‘ queries about the settlement they demanded for the sound created by flight customers using the newly-opened airport at the country’s major airport.

A decision was made regarding the law’s most affordable rate, according to Kittiphon Ruayfuphan, the lieutenant spokesman for the Transport Ministry. &nbsp,

Noise-affected people fall into different organizations. There are those lawfully entitled to compensation, residents whose land ownership is dangerous, and those who are physically unqualified to get any monetary support.

According to Mr. Kittiphon, residents who meet the payment requirements will be able to receive the money as the price is determined in due course.

In order to be ready to receive their compensation, those with dangerous land ownership will get assistance from the government.

After the Pollution Control Department undertakes a study and confirms that those who live close to the next runway are actually being impacted by the noise pollution, Mr. Kittiphon claims they will receive compensation.

Surajit Phongsingwitthaya, the BMA government chair, reported that BMA residents had voiced their concerns about the BMA’s noise problem. &nbsp,

The BMA requested changes on the status of the issue after the problems were submitted from the AoT and the Transport Ministry.

The BMA is acting as an intermediary in distributing information to people who have not yet submitted an application for payment. &nbsp,

Mr. Surajit claimed that the specialists were expediting the process because it required thorough screening. &nbsp,

The first tranche of payment, according to the chairman of the council, is anticipated to be made available to people very soon. &nbsp,

On the west part of Suvarnabhumi Airport, a second airport, four kilometers long and 60 meters wide, was constructed opposite to the first airport. It will generally be used for planes getting at the aircraft, enabling it to manage 94 an hour, away from 68 earlier.
