SIA said in an upgrade on Saturday night that 53 people and one team representative remain in Bangkok.
” This includes 43 people and one team member receiving medical treatment in the hospital,” it said.
SIA even said it had been in contact with passengers and crew members who were on board SQ321, including those who are also in Bangkok.
” Where requested, we have facilitated go to Bangkok for their families and loved ones. ”
The airport also said it is completely cooperating with the appropriate authorities in the analysis into this event.
Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat said on Friday that investigators had obtained and are examining the information from the cockpit voice recorder and aircraft statistics record of the trip.
Singapore’s Transport Safety Investigation Bureau ( TSIB ), part of the Transport Ministry, despatched investigators to Bangkok to find out what happened. Researchers from the United States have even travelled to Thailand.
