The artist, who is best known for his role in the World War II crisis The Price of Peace, also stated that he has been lucky and is “deeply grateful” for the support from Mediacorp’s Artiste Management Unit and The Celebrity Agency.
Chew Chor Meng and former acting partner Margaret Lee came in second place in Star Search in 1990, just behind Rayson.
After the skill competitors, Rayson made his play debut in the 1991 Mediacorp set Golden Shenton Way.
Chen Liping, who Rayson later wed in 1998, was also a part of the play. They have a 22-year-old brother, Zavier.  ,
Rayson believes that it’s now appropriate to leave Mediacorp because he wants to “pursue a lifestyle and work environment that better aligns with ]his ] current mindset.”
” I’ve made the decision to leave my comfort zone and start a new adventure as a freelance actor,” said Rayson, whose past production with Mediacorp was Till The Conclusion in 2023.
” Operating remains my love, and I will continue to explore new options while staying true to my original desires”, he added.
Rayson emphasized that he is not retiring and that he is looking forward to” collaborating with various generation teams in the future to make even more remarkable work together.”
