The actor, who allegedly crashed his jet ski into a small vessel on the Chao Phraya River in Samut Prakan’s Phra Pradaeng area on Saturday evening, killing two persons, was reportedly unqualified to operate a jet ski.
The Samut Prakan Branch of the Provincial Marine Office on Monday issued a directive forbidding the use of the legally registered jet ski. Shindanai Sae Lim, 21, the horse at the time of the collision, and its owner, who gave their records of what transpired.
They were even asked to bring important papers, including the jet ski’s registration documents and navigator document.
But, it was reported that Shindanai does not have a pilot license. As a result, he could be charged with driving a ship without a license and might have to spend up to 10, 000 ringgit in sanctions, face a prison term of up to six months, or both. He arrived on Monday at around 11.45am at the Provincial Marine Office’s Samut Prakan Branch, together with his dad, to meet with the company’s leaders.
He claimed that he was one of 11 people taking five jet skis to a wharf in Bangkok’s Chom Thong area when the accident took place.
His partner, Nanyaree Minhongdee, 17, and her 41-year-old family, Onlada Silanong, were riding on his plane skiing.
He claimed that the boat’s collision occurred because there were no lights and the valley was extremely dark when it was crossing the river.
But, a social media users who knew the driver of the little vessel, Prayoon Uampathum, 64, cast doubt on Shindanai’s bill, saying that Prayoon often used a lamp.
The fall resulted in Prayoon drowning along with his 44-year-old customer, Parichat Hoiman.
