Following a string of concerning accidents at structure and political amenity sites, vigilance efforts are being made to establish an independent agency to advance public safety.

Suchatvee Suwansawat, the deputy chief of the Democratic Party, stated that a proposal to establish the company has been well received, and that more than 6, 000 people have signed petitions calling for its creation. According to him, the company will be in charge of enhancing public health and lowering risks.

Former Council of Engineers leader Mr. Suchatvee stated that it is past time for the general public to pressure the government to stop incidents that endanger public safety.

A bill to establish an organization that will promote the health of Thais will be proposed after the petition has received 10,000 names, he continued.

According to the act, the organization may look into incidents, inform the general consumer, and offer guidance to both the public and private businesses. Additionally, it may concern health alerts regarding dangerous construction projects.

Customers growls were caused by a part of Kanchanaphisek Road near Rama II Road collapsing on Friday evening. A Golden Series train’s link vehicle prior fell off, landing on Thepharak Road below before bouncing and colliding with a car.

Many cars parked along Tiwanon Road in Nonthaburi were damaged when a part of the Pink Line collapsed onto the street on December 24. A 10 meter-long sheet of metal that was being lifted by a crane at an bridge at the Bang Kapi crossing crashed to the ground in August, killing one contractor and injuring two people.
