Abused maid files further complaints

A former maid who was allegedly abused by a police corporal submitted additional complaints on Tuesday against a brother of a nearby politician for individual trafficking and pushed labour.

The victim has been accompanied by her associate Kanthat Pongpaiboonvej, kryptonym Kan Chompalang, and her lawyer arranging a report with Muang police in Ratchaburi against Khomsit Jangphanit, the younger brother from the Photharam municipal mayor in Ratchaburi.

Mr Khomsit is in a relationship with Pol Cpl Kornsasi Buayaem, 43, formerly attached to the Special Branch Bureau’s 1st Division. She gets been remanded at Ratchaburi Central Jail since last Wednesday due to accusations associated with physical abuse plus human trafficking.

Mr Khomsit was implicated from the victim who proved helpful as a maid pertaining to his policewoman sweetheart. He acknowledged a charge of colluding in physical misuse last Thursday.

Mr Kanthat said he submitted pictures, chat histories and other details to investigators to take legal action against Mr Khomsit for supposed forced labour plus human trafficking. The alleged evidence has been said to show Mr Khomsit hired the target to work for their company and afterwards physically abused her.

Because the victim began working as a maid for your couple, she didn’t receive any pay out from Mr Khomsit from May to August, Mr Kanthat said.

The victim informed reporters she just received 1, 000 baht as her first wage packet and never received any more salary.

She was told she would get 450 baht per day yet Mr Khomsit allegedly refused to pay her saying she failed to deserve it because she had not worked well hard enough.

Her job had been to coordinate tasks with customers plus take care of Pol Cpl Kornsasi.

Pol Cpl Kornsasi is also believed to be the mistress of a mysterious senator.

Chasing up on this particular, locals in Ratchaburi’s Muang district said they found the signboard on a temple in Muang region recording a 120, 000-baht donation provided by Thani Onlaied, a senator, and Pol Cpl Kornsasi to construct a prayer corridor. The signboard was made two years back.

The particular Bangkok Post was unable to instantly reach the senator for comment.
