Her knowledge as a doctor, however, has proven essential in decision-making. When things go wrong in a situation, she often feels the need to make quick decisions in the running area. ” As doctors, we are comfortable with making choices with minimal information. That is good as an investor, as we often have no data or incomplete data, or ten different variations of how to perform things”.
Adopting a can-do approach has also been helpful. ” Hats off to all start-up owners, it’s really a tough job. If you do n’t have the mindset that you can fail, then you should n’t be out here because if you’ve created something that’s not very disruptive, then it’s not very entrepreneurial”, said Dr Lim.
THE QUEST FOR MEANING

The name NousQ was derived from the Greek word” Nous”, which means intellect. Dr Lim interprets it to indicate perspective, skill and spirit. ” You have to be really good in what you do, but the brain is the most important”. ‘ As a “reminder of our pursuit to provide enormous, unfulfilled patient needs,” Q was added to the name.
When asked what motivates her, Dr. Lim cites her need for quality and a yearning for concern. ” I do n’t like being bored or doing something that someone else has already done before.” This has been a longtime trait:” After, in primary school, my teacher told us to ink a brinjal to be handed in the next day. I went back home, sat on the floor, and only painted so many types. Yet wearing my school even, I went to sleep. However, it was enjoyable to side in my best work the following day,” Dr. Lim said.
” I like to be proud of my job. My desire is just to do the best that I can”, she continued.  ,
Beyond private happiness, she finds meaning in the influence of her work. The fact that we are helping others is what makes my job the most enjoyable. Beyond the everyday grind of going to work and returning home, we are doing something. To me, that would be very pointless”.
