Singer Ammy the Bottom Blues wins appeal against lese majeste charge

Promsorn’s sentence was reduced by half.

The Court of Appeal reduced Promsorn Viradhammajari’s sentence to four years in prison and dismissed the der guess case brought against vocalist Chai-amorn Kaewwiboonpan. &nbsp,

The Thanyaburi Provincial Court read out the attractiveness court’s decision on Tuesday.

It upheld Mr. Chai-amorn’s, better known as Ammy the Bottom Blues ,’s appeal against conviction and sentencing. The accused demanded the transfer of Thammasat University undergraduate Sirichai Nathuang from prison after he made a speech and track outside the municipal court in Pathum Thani state on January 14, 2021.

The case was dismissed by the allure court, which gave the prosecution’s prosecution the benefit of doubt.

Initial sentences for his co-defendant, social advocate Promsorn, included four years in prison. His behavior was deemed a danger to the king by the court at the time. Because he gave his account to the court, the Appeal Court reduced the word by quarter.

The song was given a 200-baht and 100-baht Promsorn fine.

Four years ago, the two staged a protest outside the Thanyaburi court to demand the launch of Sirichai, who was also detained on a cost of der majoreste.
