No new anthrax infection cases reported, says govt

No new cases of anthrax were reported as of tuesday, according to the Public Health Ministry, and the position in the northern province of Mukdahan is improving.

Somsak Thepsutin, the province’s minister of public health, reported three anthrax situations thus far. Two people are in hospitals, and one has died.

In the state, 636 persons have all come into contact with the illness. 538 of them have passed a seven-day isolation time, while the rest are still in isolation.

The secretary said they received the Doxycycline antibiotic medication, adding that he has instructed the municipal health office to start strict surveillance measures yet after tomorrow’s incubation period.

He claimed keeping a close eye on the state of public health may help lessen people concern about the disease’s spread.

The disease can be found in nature, primarily in soil and water, but not in beings. It can be found in both an infected animal and human. The virus seed is said to have a great resistance level and may infect people years after incubation.

According to Mr. Somsak, the department is collaborating with other organizations to stop any potential spread of the disease. According to Mr. Somsak, the government has issued a warning to the people to consume cooked meat and to watch out for government health alerts.

Authorities have been able to trace the origin of the cows that were killed on April 12 and April 28 according to Dr. Narong Junkaew, the mind of Mukdahan’s public health department.

The first massacre was connected to both the two hospitalized victims ‘ deaths.

No one has yet experienced illness as a result of the following massacre.
